Fortunately, several of our favourite retailers such as Reformation, Ghost, Net-A-Porter and Papier are joining the Black Friday 2022 celebrations, and offer slashed prices up to as much as 70% off some of their most popular designs.

When Is Black Friday 2022?
As it always follows the American holiday of Thanksgiving, Black Friday this year will fall on November 25, 2022 and run across the weekend (November 26-27) until Cyber Monday (which sees retailers bring discounts down even further) on November 28, 2022.
In recent years, the Black Friday sales have become a much bigger fanfare than the traditional Boxing Day sales you visited with your family as a child. Not only are the Black Friday sales the best way to find a bargain ahead of Christmas, but they can result in huge savings across the year, especially if you have an event like a wedding coming up and want to save cash wherever possible. After all, once brides have spent money on their wedding venue and wedding photographer, every little helps when it comes to affording everything else, right?
What Are The Best Black Friday Wedding Deals?
Unsurprisingly, most UK retailers like to keep shtum ahead of the Black Friday sales and don’t reveal their discount plans until the weeks – and sometimes days – leading up to the big day. However, a quick look at previous years of Black Friday sales gives us a pretty good idea as to what level of discounts brands and retailers are likely to put in place this year.
Better yet, some eComm websites have been known to slash prices days before Black Friday, so it’s worth keeping an eye out on your favourite sites just in case they drop discounts earlier than expected. In addition, some are already inviting customers to sign up to exclusive offers, earlybird deals and newsletters to help put them in a better position when it comes to finding the perfect item before it sells out.
Coast is one of the most popular brands for brides in the lead up to their big day, and for good reason. Its bridesmaid dresses selection is second to none, and thankfully, this year the eComm site is offering customers 10 days of exclusive extra offers during Black Friday weekend, and a money off voucher to spend in December, if you sign up to its exclusive discounts. While we’re yet to hear about its specific Black Friday discount, we suggest adding your favourite items – like that cult-favourite Coast button up satin midi dress – in champagne and navy – to your wishlists now so you’re ready for when the big price cuts are announced.
In previous years Oasis has been known to offer up to 30% off everything, including their range of bridesmaids’ dresses. So whether your wedding is in winter or summer next year (and beyond), and you’re on the lookout for floor-length or shorter options, you’re sure to find a bargain that’ll flatter all shapes and sizes for your friends and relatives.
This year the retailer is offering up to 10 days of exclusive email discounts, starting early from November 22. If you’re on the look out for the hottest 2022 bridesmaid dress trend – satin – then keep your eyes peeled for discounts on Oasis’ halter neck midi dress.
Ghost is a firm favourite among brides and bridesmaids, given their super flattering tea dresses and floor-length numbers. And, if previous years are anything to go by, the eComm site is expected to offer up to 70% off its designs come Black Friday 2022. Expect to see its Delphine satin maxi dress – which comes in a staggering 12 colourways – fly off the shelves.
Previously Phase Eight has been known to sell its designs with discounts of up to 25%, meaning you’ll be able to nab a bargain for your wedding party dress with ease if the retailer follows suit this year . Moreover, if you sign up to Phase Eight you’ll receive an extra 10% off your first order. What are you waiting for?
If you’re yet to organise your wedding invitations and placecards, then use Black Friday 2022 as a way of saving money, and head to Papier this year. From Wednesday November 23 – Monday November 28 you’ll be able to buy some incredible wedding stationery with up to 20% off online. If you’re new to Papier, you can also enjoy 10% off everything with the code TREAT10. Meanwhile, if you’re a subscriber you can get early access to the Black Friday sale from Monday November 21 – Tuesday November 22, receive 25% off when you spend over £50, or 20% off if you spend under £50. Reformation’s Black Friday sale has always been one of our favourites here at ELLE UK. Last year, everything on Reformation’s site was marked down by 25% from Friday November 25 to Monday 29 November, including items loved by the likes of Kaia Gerber and Emily Ratajkowski. Monsoon are yet to announce its Black Friday 2022 and Cyber Monday sale plans, but in previous years it has offered its entire range of dresses – including bridesmaid dresses – at up to 20% off. It’s also offering up to 15% off first orders right now, so be prepared for some major discounts.

Net-A-Porter’s Black Friday sale is notoriously one of the best, if recent years are anything to go by. The eComm site’s annual sale often sees the retailer drop prices as low as 30% on selected items, so you’ll want to start ‘favouriting’ your favourite wedding accessories and dresses pronto in order to be prepared for the big day.
Last year, shopping favourite Matches Fashion announced it would be joining the Black Friday fun and offered customers a 25% discount if you used specific code at checkout. So that’s why we’re not taking any prisoners, and have already ‘favourited’ the likes of 16Arlington dresses, MaxMara suits and Gucci handbags. As the old adage goes: Fail to prepare and you prepare to fail.

Prepare yourself to spend some serious cash on Mytheresa this year as it offered shoppers up to a whopping 70% in last year’s Black Friday sale.
While Selfridges doesn’t technically join in on the Black Friday sales, last year it did host its Christmas Comes Early sale, which took place over the Black Friday weekend and involved a 20% discount on the site a couple of days prior. It’s the perfect time to stock up on wedding treats, as well as invest in some bridal shoes, party outfits and bridesmaids’ dresses.
Family favourite John Lewis & Partners offered customers between 20-30% off several of their biggest womenswear brands in recent years. As a result of its ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’ commitment, it promises to match its competitors’ prices 365 days a year, and doesn’t count Black Friday as an exception. Lucky us!
The Outnet offered shoppers a 20% discount on top of existing discounts last year, which could result in you nabbing up to 90% in total from your favourite wedding items.
