Dakota Johnson typically keeps her relationship with Coldplay’s Chris Martin under wraps, but in January, Martin hilariously crashed her Sundance Zoom call, giving fans a sneak peek at their home life.

And while the actor may prefer a private life herself, during a virtual game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ with W Magazine, The Lost Daughter star revealed she likes to startle fans on their wedding day.

‘I feel like I’ve done that a lot,’ she said.

Johnson added: ‘It’s one of my number one hobbies.’

She recalled one particular occasion, saying: ‘There I was, holding up the bride and groom in a chair. And they were just like “Who — What are you doing?”‘

Last November, Johnson’s dad Don spoke of the possibility of his daughter getting married one day.

He said: ‘If she’s happy, I will be happy.’

‘And if she decides to get married, I would imagine that there would be grandchildren not too far out for that. I’d be pretty excited about that part.’

Johnson gave her account of life with Martin in a previous ELLE UK interview. At the time, she said of their relationship dynamic: ‘We’ve been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it’s nice to be at home and be cosy and private. Most of the partying takes place inside my house.’

The Fifty Shades star also opened up about her sense of self, saying: ‘I feel both 48 and 26.

‘I’ve had a lot of life in my life. I had a lot of life really young, so I think I feel older.’

And despite not discussing marriage plans, Johnson has spoken about complicated feelings towards motherhood.

In reference to her 2021 film The Lost Daughter, which led to her earning an Oscar nomination, she formerly told The Times: The film makes it OK to have complicated feelings about being a mother.’

She continued: ‘For somebody like me, who isn’t yet a mother and maybe doesn’t want to be a mother, it makes that OK. Complicated, but OK.’

Johnson, who plays a young mum in the psychological drama, went on to talk about fertility, saying: ‘It would also be cool if Cambridge [university] offered to freeze eggs,’ adding: ‘With technology, you can have a biological child until you’re 50. That’s cool.’
