CONONLEY-based filmmaker, Alex Lester, is in the running for three prestigious awards for his work with Studio Lester over the past twelve months.
Specialising in elopement and wedding videography, Alex is in the running for the English Wedding Awards, I Do Wedding Awards and Wedding Inc awards – three of the most coveted awards available for those working in the wedding industry.
He spoke about the difficulties the pandemic brought: “The past two years have been extremely challenging, not just for those working in the wedding industry like me, but thousands of businesses across the UK. To have come through the other side is an achievement in itself, and these latest award nominations are simply the cherry on top.
“Last year I married my wife in June and we didn’t have a weekend together until November. Every weekend was spent catching up with postponed weddings and new bookings, with countless hours spent travelling to places like Skye, Essex and Fife.
“Being nominated for one award is great, but to be in the running for three feels really special. I’d like to go on record and thank all my amazing clients, family and friends for supporting Studio Lester throughout the pandemic – without them none of this would have been possible.”
Alex is now fully booked for 2022 and hopes to fill his diary with 2023 weddings over the next few months.
