The day is finally here! Farhan Akhtar’s fans are excited as their favourite star is now married to the love of his life. The actor tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Shibani Dandekar today, February 19, in an intimate ceremony. The first pictures of the couple as husband and wife are out too. The couple got married in Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s farmhouse in Khandala. The house named Sukoon is situated amid the backdrop of beautiful hills and we have got some inside glimpses of it for you.

Farhan’s dad and popular lyricist Javed Akhtar had recited a sweet poem at the wedding that he wrote for the happy couple. Not only that, he even lent his Khandala farmhouse to Farhan and Shibani to host their wedding. Isn’t that a sweet gesture? We have got some glimpses of the holiday home for you here. FARHAN-SHIBANI’S WEDDING
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding took place today with only few close friends and family members. The couple exchanged vows, instead of a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony or a nikah. The couple zeroed in on this decision, keeping each other’s religious backgrounds and beliefs in mind. Their wedding guest list included Meiyang Chang, Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani, Rhea Chakraborty and Hrithik Roshan.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar made their entry to the wedding venue to Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara! Isn’t that how perfect weddings look like? Gallan Goodiyaan from Farhan Akhtar’s film Dil Dhadakne Do was also heard playing at the venue. The couple even sang for each other. While Shibani performed on John Legend’s All Of Me, Farhan beautifully sang Rock On’s song Tum Ho Toh. Peter Andre’s Mysterious Girl and Senorita were also played at the wedding.
