Duggar daughters flout strict dress code

Many of the Duggar women have been quick to do things their own way, especially when it comes to dress code.

Jim Bob and his wife, Michelle, have long observed a strict dress code that usually only permits women to dress modestly and to wear skirts or dresses.

Their daughters Joy-Anna, 24, and Jill, 30, have been the most open to breaking the rules as the sisters have worn everything from shorts to above-the-knee dresses.

Jill has also been seen in gym shorts, strapless tops, and jeans, in defiance of the family’s strict dress code.

Speculation over Jeremiah and Hannah’s baby plans

On Reddit, one Duggar fan speculated: “Jer and Hannah already have a YouTube channel lined up, no posts yet. I guess their first post will be their wedding video and their second will be a pregnancy announcement video.”

Another commented: “Hard disagree there. The second post will be a marriage advice post.”

Noting the revolving door of Duggar pregnancies and ongoing speculation, one fan noted that no matter what the video is, it will be: “Heavily edited to not include anyone we are speculating is pregnant.”

Jeremiah Duggar’s wedding date to fiancée Hannah Wissmann was leaked just weeks after the couple announced their engagement.

According to the Duggar Family News Facebook group, the pair will be walking down the aisle on March 26, 2022, as a graphic on the page revealed.

Just a few days ahead of the wedding, Hannah shared a sweet photo of herself and Jeremiah Duggar holding their marriage license with the caption, “One step closer to forever with you!!”

According to People, Josh’s legal team said: “Additionally, because of certain reasonable COVID-19 precautions understandably instituted at the jail at which Duggar is being detained, it has been more difficult scheduling meetings with Duggar than during more ordinary times.

“Finally, while defense counsel can and would be available for the current sentencing date, certain scheduling issues arising out of unrelated cases would be more easily resolved if this Court were to grant the requested continuance.”

Why was Josh’s sentencing delayed?

According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, the defense wants “additional time to pursue additional information and documentation.”

Josh’s defense team also argued that coronavirus had a factor in the decision to postpone the sentence, according to The Hill.

Due to the pandemic, the defense argued it was “more difficult scheduling meetings with Duggar than during ordinary times.”

They went on to say that with the extension, schedule concerns will be “would be more easily resolved.”

When will Josh Duggar be sentenced?

Josh was arrested in April 2021 and convicted in December 2021, however, his sentence date was originally set for April 2022, reports Distractify.

According to People, Josh’s legal counsel requested that the date be pushed back to late May 2022.

Josh’s legal team requested the date change, according to court records acquired by the site since they were unable to meet with him owing to Covid-19 safety procedures and scheduling concerns.

Josh faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the two offenses for which he was found guilty.

In early February, Jeremiah took to Instagram to share a mid-project selfie with Hannah.

The couple smiled for the camera as they each held painting materials in their hands.

Both Jeremiah and Hannah donned casual outfits, which were splattered with white paint.

Alongside the photo, the Counting On alum wrote: “When I’m working with you, it doesn’t even feel like work!”

The caption concluded with the hashtags #painting,  #workprojects,  #myfiancee and #iloveyou.

Shortly after Jeremiah posted the photo on Instagram, Counting On fans rushed to Reddit to wonder if the couple are building a home together.

One fan said they wouldn’t be surprised if Jeremiah and Hannah had “bought a fixer up in LA.“

Others wondered if the pair were helping paint a house owned by one of Jeremiah’s siblings.

Derick and his wife recently shared an emotional message about the “little secret” they were keeping.

Fans guessed Jill’s pregnancy before reveal

Duggar fans knew that Jill was pregnant weeks before the reality star officially announced she was expecting her third child. 

On Valentine’s Day, Jill’s husband Derick Dillard posted an Instagram photo of their romantic dinner.

The Counting On alum had a delicious plate of steak and vegetables in front of her, and her mason jar was filled to the top with water and slices of lemon. 

Counting On fans jumped to the comments section when they claimed the non-alcoholic beverage was enough proof for them.

One fan mentioned: “Jill and Jinger both lightly drink.”

A third fan pointed out Jill had used the phrase “little ones” in a recent post, which also raised suspicion.

“It feels like an interesting phrase when she could have said ‘our boys’ or ‘the boys’. We know they are actively trying so I wish them the best.”

Hannah said ‘yes’ to the dress

Hannah shared a photo to Instagram after she bought her wedding dress weeks after getting engaged.

The bride-to-be smiled as she held up a sign that read that she “said yes to Renee’s Dress.”

While tagging Renee’s Bridal in Kentucky, the bride to be wrote: “I said YES to the perfect dress!

“Thank you @renees_bridal for making all of my wedding dress dreams come true!! Today was such a fun and special experience! You made us all feel so loved,” she wrote.

Her future husband reshared it onto his Instagram Story with a NSFW request.

Alongside Hannah’s post, Jeremiah wrote: “Can you post a pic of you in your new dress.”

In addition to tagging Hannah, Jeremiah implied he wanted sexy snaps by adding a winking emoji.
