Nimki Mukhiya’s Bhumika Gurung gets married to Shekhar Malhotra; their post- wedding ritual video will make you say aww

It’s time to send congratulatory messages to popular TV actress Bhumika Narang as she has got married to Shekhar Malhotra in a traditional ceremony on Tuesday (March 8). Bhumika, who is fondly known for her role in Nimki Mukhiya, tied the knot with her beau in the presence of her family members and close friends. The talented actress donned a silver and green lehenga, which she teamed up with a maang-tika and gold bangles.

While Bhumika looked beautiful as ever in a heavily embellished lehenga, Shekhar complemented her in a sherwani. The restaurateur, who is the cousin of Mahhi Vij, looked dapper in his ethnic outfit. Mahhi took to social media to share pictures of the newly-wedded couple from their Anand Karaj ceremony.

The Balika Vadhu actress welcomed her sister-in-law Bhumika to the family by penning a sweet note for her. She wrote, “And she is ours.”

Mahhi also shared videos from Bhumika and Shekhar’s fish-the-ring ceremony on her Instagram story. The bride can be seen blushing while playing the game with her husband.

Bhumika Gurung‘s friend Deepak Kalra treated the fans with adorable snaps of the actress along with a cute caption. The bride and the groom can be seen flashing their smiles while striking a pose for the camera in the photos.

Bhumika and Shekhar had a traditional Indian wedding with all the functions including haldi, mehendi and sangeet. The bride had a blast with her friends at her sangeet ceremony as she danced to the beats of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s peppy number Oo Antava. A video from the pre-wedding function went viral on the internet.

Bhumika and Shekhar took their relationship to the next level after dating each for over a year. The talented actress, who became a household name after playing the titular role in Nimki Mukhiya, had shared a mushy post for her beau before their wedding. She shared romantic snap with Shekhar along with the caption, “Can’t wait to call you my husband.”

On the professional front, Bhumika Gurung was last seen in Mann Ke Awaaz Pratigya 2. She had also worked in Nimki Vidhayak, which aired on Star Bharat.
