Billionaire oil heiress Ivy Getty has a new gig as a real-life cupid.
The newly married socialite — whose November wedding to photographer Tobias Alexander Engel was officiated by Nancy Pelosi — helped spread the love on Valentine’s Day.
Getty wed artist Isla de Luca and photographer Tati Bruening on February 14 during a party at the Jane Hotel. Then she threw flower petals off the balcony to a crowd that included new “Gossip Girl” star Eli Brown and heir Peter Brant Jr.
Just days before the event Getty posted on Instagram asking if any couples wanted her to marry them on Valentine’s Day. A source told us, “It was very spontaneous.”
“Ivy wed them very officially and very professionally,” says the attendee. “It was beautifully done and so special.”
“It takes longer to get your chart read than to get ordained!” Getty told New York magazine’s party reporter Brock Colyar, as she was “double-fisting dirty martinis” at the reception.
Frankie Jonas — the younger sibling of the Jonas Brothers known as the “bonus Jonas” — served as best man.
Getty has been active on the NYC social scene recently, turning up at the New York Botanical Garden Winter Wonderland Ball in December, and the opening of new cocktail lounge Peakaboo at Hudson Yards, the Markarian fashion show, and a fête at the Plaza for Love Shack Fancy designer Rebecca Hessel Cohen this month.
She was married four months ago in San Francisco wearing a custom-made dress by John Galliano that was covered in broken mirrors. “Queens Gambit” star Anya Taylor-Joy was the maid of honor and Getty’s rescue dog was a ring bearer.
