Bride saves thousands of dollars after finding her ‘dream’ wedding dress at an op shop instead of a boutique – and you won’t BELIEVE the price tag

  • Australian bride Jaysie Leigh found her wedding dress at St Vincent de Paul
  • The New South Wales bride said she was given the gown for free
  • The dress featured embroidery, a fitted silhouette and gorgeous back detail
  • Jaysie Leigh said it was ‘such an honour to wear’ the pre-loved gown

A bride has shown off her stunning secondhand wedding gown from Vinnies after deciding she didn’t want to spend thousands on a dress from a boutique store.

Jaysie Leigh, from New South Wales, married her partner Luke earlier this year and shared images wearing her ‘dream’ dress in a St Vincent de Paul store.

But Jaysie Leigh told Daily Mail Australia she didn’t spend a cent as the store’s employee gave it to her for free.

The dress would have cost $250 and featured frosted embroidery, a fitted silhouette and gorgeous detachable chandelier back detail.

‘We all burst into tears and it fitted me absolutely perfect!’ Jaysie Leigh said.

‘The only thing I had to do to my dress was put a slight bit of fabric for lining on the sleeves because it was slightly scratchy.’

She added how it was ‘such an honour’ to wear the pre-loved dress.

‘Well my Vinnies dress did me amazing!’ she wrote and shared a now-viral video on TikTok.
