When the groom did not show up on the marriage day, the bride side family reached police station to file a complaint. When the family was just about to file an FIR, the groom showed up and the wedding was performed late at night.
The relatives of the bride accused the boy of cheating. Groom, Ratnesh Kumar, a resident of Bhuli in Dhanbad, works in the Indian Railways.
The girl said that the date of marriage was fixed earlier last year, but even then due to the refusal of the groom, there was an agreement between the two parties in Dhanbad Mahila Police Station.
At that time the boy’s side had agreed to the marriage on March 25 in front of the police. That’s why the girls came to Dhanbad with full preparation to get married. When the boy did not come forward, the girl’s family members reached the women’s police station.
