No Royal ceremony since the close of the Great War has moved the hearts of the British peoples so deeply as the marriage of the Princess Mary. Bright and splendid though the bridal pageant will be, beautiful and solemn as is the rite to be held within the hallowed walls of the Abbey, it is not the thought of courtly or of ecclesiastical pomps which occupies the public mind.
