Amid the high-profile weddings of Bollywood celebrities, Shahid Kapoor’s sister, Sanah Kapur, is all set to get married today, March 2. Sanah, who was seen in the film Shaandaar, will be exchanging wedding vows with Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa’s son, Mayank Pahwa. For those who do not know, Sanah is the daughter of Shahid Kapoor’s father, Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak. Today, on her wedding day, Shahid also gave a tight hug to his sister Sanah.
SHAHID GIVES A TIGHT HUG TO SISTER SANAH
Sanah and Mayank’s wedding is going to happen in Mahabaleshwar. And the families of the bride and groom have started reaching the wedding venue. Shahid, too, seems to have reached the wedding venue as his photos with Sanah are going viral on social media. In one of the photos, the Bollywood actor can be seen giving a tight hug to his younger sister. Shahid was accompanied by his wife Mira Rajput for Sanah and Mayank’s wedding.

WHAT’S ON THE WORK FRONT FOR SHAHID KAPOOR?
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Kabir Singh, which was one of the highest-grossing films of 2019. The actor was paired opposite Kiara Advani in the film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It was the remake of the hit Telugu film, Arjun Reddy, which featured Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role.
Next, Shahid will be seen playing the role of a cricketer in Jersey. The film is again an official Hindi remake of the Telugu movie, Jersey, featuring Nani. In Jersey, Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor. Jersey was scheduled to be released on December 31, but due to the third wave of Covid-19, it was delayed. And now, the makers have announced April 14, 2022 as the new release date of Jersey.
