Succession season 4 filming picture hints at wedding scenes

A picture from the set of Succession season four has teased wedding bells are in the air.

HBO’s hit show will officially return for a fourth chapter, with Connor Roy (Alan Ruck) and Willa Ferreyra (Justine Lupe) set to tie the knot.

As filming for the new season began at the end of June, a new image seems to suggest that the upcoming chapter will include Logan Roy’s (Brian Cox) eldest and his aspiring playwright fiancée’s nuptials.

In the snap, taken at the marina, you can spot a short building with a banner reading “Willa Ferreyra & Connor Roy” across a red glittery background, while black-and-white pictures of the happy couple are plastered on the walls below.

It isn’t clear whether this will pose as the wedding venue, perhaps serving as an establishing shot, or it will be the site of the pair’s rehearsal dinner or some other wedding-related event.

In season three, Connor unexpectedly got on one knee to pop the question amid his presidential bid. Uninterested in his family’s affairs, Connor isn’t much involved in the cut-throat corporate world and prefers to observe from afar – specifically from his ranch in New Mexico, where he resides with Willa.

The presidential candidate’s wedding aside, the new season will have to deal with the aftermath of a huge betrayal twist.

The third instalment closed on a cliffhanger after Logan effectively deprives his children Shiv (Sarah Snook), Kendall (Jeremy Strong) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) of company control after selling Waystar Royco to a tech billionaire.

Succession airs on HBO in the US, and Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
