COVID-19: Peterborough mayor ‘strongly encourages’ those from red, locked-down zones to stay away

The mayor of Peterborough is “strongly encouraging” residents in red-zone and locked-down areas to refrain from visiting her city amid the coronavirus pandemic. In a video statement sent to Global News Peterborough on Tuesday, Mayor Diane Therrien says now that the city and region are in a “yellow zone — protect” designation under the province’s COVID-19 framework, people need to be vigilant. Peterborough Regional Farmers’ Market returns indoors at Peterborough Square

The Peterborough Regional Farmers’ Market returns for its indoor season beginning Saturday. According to the PRFM, its indoor market will be held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Peterborough Square in the city’s downtown.
