Behind the camera was Robertson Phillips Photography; a husband and wife photography team [Dani and Ryan] based on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Dani said: “We think the Best Man’s speech summed up the feeling of the day when he described it as ‘the light at the end of a very dark tunnel’. This wedding was what the two families had been holding onto throughout the lockdowns to get them all through it and the emotions on the day proved it; so much love and gratitude at being together.

“The venue was at Ty Hen in Rhosneigr, Anglesey. The couple worked so hard to totally overhaul a much used hay barn into a dreamy rustic vision.

“Wildflowers were hung from the walls and ceilings, intertwined with the warm glow of fairy lights and candles. The tables were simple, elegantly laid with lavender bunches and hessian, reflecting the setting of the beautiful Llyn Maelog, and the first wedding to ever take place here.”

Dani has been a photographer for more than a decade and describes herself as a lover of landscapes and people, it seemed a natural step into wedding photography.

Ryan has been a professional photographer for three years. After a military career,e wanted to do something totally different he fell in love with photography. Upon leaving the military He has trained with some of the industry’s best.

Dani said: “Being ex-military, no detail is left and we make sure your day runs smoothly. We love people and getting to know our couples so we can show them as their true selves on the most important days of their lives.

“Your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye, and when it’s over all you have left are the photos, so to us they are the most important part of the day to get 100 per cent right!

“When you book us we come as a pair, so you get total coverage of your day.

“Our couples always tell us their favourite thing from the photos is seeing what their guests were up to when they weren’t around.”
