  1. A North Charleston woman has won $100,000 through a lottery ticket purchased at Dorchester Crossing Liquor Store. The winner did not wish to be identified but she reportedly plans to use her newfound wealth to buy her dream home. Dorchester Crossing Liquor Store received $1,000 for selling the winning ticket. (ABC NEWS 4)
  2. A gas leak in downtown Charleston has caused a portion of Meeting Street to evacuate and close. Emergency crews responded to the leak that was caused by a natural gas line being cut. The Charleston Police Department arrived at the scene to help direct traffic from the area. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. Dr. Marsha Neal is a finalist for the SC STEM Educator of the Year Award. Neal is a 6th grade Math and Science teacher at Deer Park Middle School in North Charleston. She was nominated for the award by one of her colleagues after teaching at the school for three years. (Live 5 News WCSC)
