This week our wedding looks at the special day of Brad and Lydia Cornish who were married in a wonderful cermony.
The couple, who are from Whitehaven, were married at Broadoaks Country House Hotel.
One hundred adoring relatives and friends attended the service and helped the couple to celebrate in true style.
All of the special moments were captured by Adam Grills Photography who shared with us some of the amazing things that occurred.
Mr Grills said: “The wedding was a very relaxed day where both the bridal party and groomsmen all got ready at the hotel. The weather was dry and relatively warm considering the time of year. They celebrated the day with their closest family and friends along with their golden Labrador, Cooper.
“Broadoaks Country House is the Award Winning Lake District wedding venue that offers exclusive use of the entire house and grounds, perfect for couples looking for an intimate wedding.
“Not too far off the beaten path, this lovely country house hotel occupies one of the most beautiful spots in the Lake District, perched as it is surrounded by glorious woodland with its magnificent grounds framed by the flush of the river that tumbles into Lake Windermere.
The brides make up was done by Kacey Walker and Rebecca Tyson provided hairdressing. Rebecca was also chosen as one of Lydia’s bridesmaids.
The florist for the day was Yard Flowers and the entertainment for the ceremony was performed by The Rucksacks.
Fiarylights emblazoned the main room of the venue and were provided by a firm called Purple Swan. The gorgeous wedding cake was put together by Dawn Winter of Cake at Number 1.
