Farhan Akhtar speaks for the first time about his life post wedding with Shibani Dandekar

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar got married in an intimate wedding ceremony on February 19. The couple got hitched at Javed Akhtar’s farmhouse in Khandala with close family and friends in attendance. Now, for the first time, Farhan has opened up about his life post wedding with Shibani. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor said that things have been pretty much the same, but he feels that he’s in a very happy space now.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding was truly one of a kind! Opening up about his newly married life, Farhan told IndiaToday.in, “I don’t know if it feels any different. Shibani and I have been together for many years now. So, on some level, this puts some kind of an official tag to it. But apart from that, our relationship is amazing. It has been since we started dating and we’ve taken this to another level together. This just feels great as always.”

Farhan and Sibhani dated each other for four years before tying the knot. The couple had an intimate vow-exchange ceremony which was attended by the actors’ close friends and family. The wedding guest list included Hrithik Roshan, Farah Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Saqib Saleem, Reha Chakraborty, Amrita Arora, directors Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and Ashutosh Gowariker among others. They kept the wedding as simple as possible. The guests were dressed in pastels and whites, while the bride and the groom opted for a red corset lehenga and a tux, respectively, for the wedding. On February 21, they registered their wedding and hosted a party for their friends and family at their house in Mumbai.
