After an epic S$2mil Guo Da Li and one gorgeous ROM ceremony on 22/2/2022, the celebrations continued for heiress-slash-businesswoman Kim Lim and her IT entrepreneur husband Leslie with a pre-wedding dinner on Friday (Feb 25).
And we’re quite sure we don’t need to tell anyone that the couple went all out for the event.
According to an Instagram post by their wedding planner, 42 hours were spent decorating 1-Atico at ION Sky — yup, that’s the same place where James Seah tied the knot — for the party, which included covering the venue in countless red roses.
Setting up the black and gold balloons — 15,000 of them, to be exact — alone took 19 hours, but as you can see from the end result, it was all totally worth it:
The newlyweds looking red carpet-ready
Go big or go home
The whole place must’ve smelled amazing
More wedding decor inspo and the amazing view from 1-Atico
The pre-wedding dinner, which started at sunset, had a guest list that included many of Kim’s famous friends, including Zoe Tay, Rebecca Lim and her fiancé Matthew Webster, Lawrence Wong, Cassandra See, Xiaxue, and Naomi Neo.
Of course, in attendance too was the 30-year-old’s father, billionaire philanthropist Peter Lim, her stepmum former actress Cherie Lim, as well as Kim’s cherubic four-year-old son Kyden.
Each guest was also required to go for a Pre-Event Testing (PET) at Kim’s Illumia Medical – Aesthetic Clinic on the same day and only those who tested negative could attend the dinner.
Rebecca and Zoe are looking great too
We hear Kim’s necklace costs $400K and is a gift from her dad
Just as the term “pre-wedding dinner” suggests, this is not the end of the #KLStyle celebrations.
8days.sg understands that the couple will be throwing an actual wedding banquet closer to the end of the year, and given what we’ve seen so far, we have a feeling we’re going to be blown away by the scale and opulence of whatever they have planned.
Guests were also greeted with a personalised menu engraved with their name
Kim wore several different outfits (and slayed in all of them)
Waiting to see what the next event will be like
