This couple made their wedding even more special by performing like rock stars during their reception in La Trinidad, Benguet, last month.
As seen on Jun Veneracion’s “24 Oras” report Thursday, Melody and Marson Fongwan rocked their wedding day while clad in their gown and suit, making guests feel like they attended a concert.
Melody said the idea came from her best friend and maid of honor. Both husband and wife played guitar for their own bands—Melody for her group Ashfall, and Marson for Clutch.
She said they rehearsed their performance for an hour just a day before their wedding, and it was their first time to jam in front of their loved ones.
With their talent, the couple is hoping to form a “full band” with their children who can also perform with them someday.
“Kailangan natin ng drummer para siya magda-drums,” Melody said.
[We need a drummer, someone who will play the drums.]
As of writing, their wedding video has attracted over 59,000 views online.
