Arshpreet Kaur, 24, a resident of Nabha Sahib, Zirakpur, turned out to vote in bridal finery right before her wedding. Talking to the media, she said that it was important to vote for development. “Voting is my right and Ivoted for development in my area,” she said. Balongi resi- dent Jaspreet Singh decided to vote before his wedding on Sunday. He cast his vote at the polling booth in Guru Nanak Public School, Balongi, before proceeding to get married. He said, “My wedding coincided with the polling day. But it could not deter by zeal to vote, which is my duty. ”
Bindra’s father casts vote
